How to Make Generic Viagra® (Sildenafil) work Better!

Why won't viagra work for me?

Generic Viagra ® will not work for everybody but, since the ‘little blue pill’ was approved in 1998 by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) millions of men have benefitted from Viagra® (Sildenafil) and other Erectile Dysfunction drugs such as Cialis® and Levitra®.  The Viagra® story is pretty amazing, a one in a million stroke of luck, the drug worlds equivalent to hitting the jackpot.

Viagra ® was developed by Pfizer as a blood pressure treatment and it was soon evident that it had one unexpected side effect. Viagra helped men suffering from Erectile Dysfunction get and maintain erections. This led to it becoming one of the fastest-selling medicinal drugs in history. Proving to be a license to print money with annual sales reaching around 2 billion dollars by 2008.

This was all amazing news for millions of men worldwide who suffered from erection issues however, for a small number, generic Viagra® will not be the answer they have been praying for.

Why isn’t Generic Viagra ® working?

Generic Viagra® does work for the vast majority of men. Unfortunately,  it will not work for everybody, around 20-30% of men don’t get the full benefits of the medication. However, in many cases, your E.D will still be treatable. The first port of call is to make sure the meds are being taken properly.

If the medication you have been prescribed isn’t having the desired effect, then we need to work out what is going wrong through a process of elimination.

  • Generic Viagra® should be taken on an empty stomach. If you take it on a full stomach, especially after a meal high in fat, the drug’s effectiveness is dramatically reduced. It also best taken 2-3 hours after a meal.
  • Give it a chance. Many men wrongly assume that think things will work the first time you take the meds, for many this is true. However, give it a chance, it might take a few attempts to kick in.
  • Timing is key. GenericViagra® generally does work quickly, so take it an hour before any action is expected. It also only lasts for on average 3-4 hours before the effects start to wear off. If you want a longer-lasting medication why not consider Generic Cialis® or Generic Daily Cialis®.
  • Avoid alcohol. Unfortunately, no E.D medication can cure ‘Brewers Droop’. Alcohol greatly reduces the effectiveness of Generic Viagra® by reducing the blood flow around the body. Erections rely on good blood flow, so even one or two alcoholic drinks could rule things out for the night!.
  • Increase dosage. Generic Viagra® comes in various dosages from 20mg up to 100mg. Usually, your doctor will start you on a low dose which would increase until it becomes effective.
  • You have an underlying health condition. Health issues such as heart disease, diabetes, nerve damage, and even low testosterone can all cause E.D. You may also have psychological health issues that need to be discussed with a health professional. Don’t worry though, if the underlying cause is discovered and is treated then your E.D could also be cured.
  • Stop watching porn. Yes, this is true! In studies, it has been shown that E.D among 30 – 40-year-olds is on the increase, and its partly due to porn. Watching porn creates dissociation. To put it simply, your real-life partner will not ring your bell in the same way anymore.  Porn can cause a condition known as ‘porn-induced E.D.’ So if you wanna get it up, give it up! • You are just a bit unhealthy. There is a strong possibility that your lifestyle choices will be the cause of your E.D. Eat well, stop smoking, and get active. A healthy lifestyle not only makes you physically more able to get an erection, it will work wonders on your state of mind which can also be a huge part of the problem.
  • You simply weren’t turned on. The fact is for Generic Viagra® to work is that you must be turned on, this might be a problem with your partner or other factors that may be playing their part. On this occasion, possibly your mind was elsewhere or you were simply too stressed. It’s always worth trying a few times before conceding defeat.
  • Viagra® is the wrong choice for you. If all the above hasn’t worked, you still have the option of trying an alternative drug. Generic Cialis® or generic daily Cialis ® is usually the next step and for many the answer they are looking for.
